You will be asked to demonstrate one show me questions while you are driving on your test.
It is to demonstrate that you can safely use of a car control whilst the wheels are moving- for example be able to put your lights on when it gets dark.
When you drive a different car ensure you make yourself familiar with the locations of the controls.
I recommend watching the DVSA video to familiarise yourself with the basics.

- When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you’d switch on your dipped headlights?

- When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you’d operate the horn?
- When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you’d demist the front windscreen?
- When it’s safe to do so, can you show me how you’d open and close the side window?
